Tikka T3x whats your thoughts on Barrel support/ remove and bed action ??

Just my two bits but it sounds like it takes more rounds than anyone is likely to shoot while hunting to make those groups really open up, and even then its still hitting bullwinkle.

I wouldn't worry about it.

I would install a limbsaver pad though. Makes the length of pull a half inch longer which may be too much depending on the good dr's size but it does cut back some of that recoil. Were it mine, I think I'd prefer 7mm-08 to 7mm Rem in that rifle anyway, but the Limbsaver pad helps
 
Injection moulding of a stock is not that simple, getting the mould halves exactly to the same temp is an issue already meaning these plastic stocks are often a bit crooked. The pressure bedding bends the stock back in line with the barrel to make it look even. Barrel channel gap is one quality check most gun buyers look out for. Mostly Tikka's will shoot ok like that for your 200yd deer. Things will improve with aftermarket stiffer and free floating stocks and believe it not a heavier scope.

just take one shot with a cool barrel - then wait for the barrel to cool down again (adjust the scope if necessary) then take one more shot - when you get home do not clean the barrel - pack it up and go hunting -
 
If your rifle shoots 3 shots MOA groups at 200 yards, don't do anything to it!!!
Just spend our time practicing at the range until shooting 7mm Rem Mag until you get used to recoil and blast.
All overbore cartridges such as 270 Win, 7 Rem Mag and 270 WSM are "tough on the nerves" and groups often open up because of shooter fatigue not rifle accuracy.
(Years ago, I owned a laser accurate 270 WSM which no one could fire accurately more than 4 or 5 time in a row because of battleship type muzzle blast and concussion).

Even a short 18" 243 Win will rack your nerves because of blast and concussion not recoil!
