I use either Talley ringmounts for hunting guns or smaller objectives and MDT rail/rings pairing for range guns or large scopes where I might want more mounting options.

Of the 9 Tikka’s I’ve owned, it was either optilocks or talleys couldnt really pick one over the other tbh like both 100%

There are lots of good set ups these days. As you can see, I prefer Talley rings for my Tikkas over any other brand. I have never had an issue with them and they are nice and light!

I see you have some superlight goodness there, my favorite. What caliber?

They are all Talley Low’s. And, that is a custom superlight! Its a KS Arms barrel with aggressive flutes (so they called it) and its chambered in the good old regular 280rem! I absolutely love it.

I have several T3’s the set up I like the best is Tally mounts with the Leopold ultra light compact 3-9 or 2-7 scope. I see so many Tikka's with big heavy scopes, and in my opinion it ruins the balance, with a light scope these are beautiful guns to pack around on a long day of hunting.
