Tikka TAC A1 - Finally took it to the range

Hope mine works as nicely as the OP's whenever I get some time to get out. I have something of a workload to accomplish when I do go. A 700 that I had the stock off to install a Triggertech, shud just have to maybe do a minor rezero, 3 falling blocks with scope swaps done, another one has been sort of set at 25yds. But, it is also a new gun and have handloads to test in it, and two have new bullets to check out in handloads. Two break actions with handloads to test, one has a reflex site sort of zeroed at 25 to sort out, and then the TAC A1 to zero and check out with 4 different versions of factory ammo to give me some idea of what bullet it likes, and I haven't done any loads up for it yet. And I shud probably change the scope mount on a 22 and rezero it. Thinking a week off might get it all done.

Do these rifles have the standard Tikka one stage trigger? That's my only gripe with the standard models. I wish they came with a nice two stage as I find them much easier to shoot at longer distances.

The Tac A1 comes with an awesome two stage trigger. It's adjustable however I haven't felt the need.

A lot of the std models are actually available with a single set trigger, not sure if they have been brought in to Canada though. I've had a couple of the single set triggers on different guns, they are nice, but, take some getting used to. Haven't noticed any of the ads mentioning SST on them here.

I purchased a 7RM supervarmint and had a set trigger installed a few years back. Sweet! I live in Canada and support Tikka!
