The chassis mag is way thicker than the mag that came with my rifle.

Sonic,says his measure at 2.970 which would work, but it’s $200+ to find out.

I think I might just sell the chassis and go with a Cadex

Here’s a pic of the two mags.
The thicker mag is 6.5 CM from the Tac A1 chassis. The other is from my Tikka TX3 CTR, it’s stamped 6.5PRC.

The skinny mag is the ones that go with the hunting rifles, the larger mag comes with the CTR and A1 rifles. They don't make the tactical magazine in a long action or short magnum from my understanding.

That’s how I got it figured out.I’m SOL.
But my rifle is listed as Tikka TX3 CTR 6.5 PRC.

Yes, that’s my plan.
I’ll sell the Tac A1 and put the money towards a Cadex OT core or a Tac21.
I’m in no hurry as The original stock will do for now.

KRG Bravo is one to consider as well.

Really punches above it's weight class. Great price, great ergonomics and lots of accessories available.
