Tikka Tactical

Buy a 260 Remington..shoot the 140 gr Berger. Many 30 cal guys are making the switch. All around better than a 22 cal and 30 cal.

Research it and you will be surprized!!

Yes, supposed to be a great round, but since all the Tikka's are built on a long action you'd be better off going with the 6.5x55 Swedish, it's got greater case capacity than the .260. In other words, whatever the .260 can do the Swede can do better.

I'm kinda thinking that it will be my next purchase, now the debate of .223 or .308 which will probably win out in the end!

Why limit yourself to millitary rounds? Someone mentioned the .260rem I say why reinvent the wheel my favourite cal for this stuff is 6.5x55. Tikka even make a HB varmint in this chamber.

Edit: Leg beat me to the punchline...

After going custom and seeing what they will really do I can't see ever going back to a factory rifle. I plan on rebarreling all my guns over the next few years. It is just plain fun to shoot a super accurate rifle.
