Tikka triggers

As soon as I got my Tikkas, I put the Yo Dave springs in them, both are in the 2lb range. I do have a trigger gauge, don't remember for sure what they tested at off the top of my head. Springs are easy to put in, but, do have to pull the stock to get at the back trigger screw and take it out, to make room to get the adj screw out. If you aren't changing the spring, you don't need to pull the stock, just back the adj screw out til it stops on the rear trigger mount screw. Pretty much a foolproof system.

I have several Tikkas, they all have excellent triggers, the older M595 isn’t quite as crisp as the T3 and M695. I DO NOT like accutriggers. I have a Savage that I changed out the accutrigger to a Timney, I prefer the factory Tikka triggers to the Timney

I have a vanguard with an excellent factory trigger. My savage got a timney replacement as did not care for the accutrigger. I shot a new tikka the other day and it was great no gripes from me. Of all the things I’m fussy about with a rifle, a good trigger is #1.
