I have owned many Tikkas, shot literally 1000s of rounds through them. Never once was a factory magazine a problem for me. Upgrades or changes I have made are...bottom metal, trigger springs, complete trigger assemblies, stocks/chassis, barrels, bolt handles, bolt shrouds, recoil lugs, Cerakote. Pretty much covers it.
My current three Tikka setups....
T3X Lite SS, 7mm-08, all factory no mods.
T3 Varmint, 260 Rem with factory barrel, MDT Elite muzzle brake, German Gun Stock, Trigger Spring, 20 MOA rail, factory bottom metal and mags--wanting to try PR Precision bottom metal for factory mags.
T3X, started as a Lite SS in 243, now wears an IBI Carbon Pre Fit in 243, sits in a MDT Carbon HNT 26 chassis, 20 MOA rail, trigger spring, bolt handle.
