Why are these so hard to find? I wish Stoeger would bring more in with the optional open sights. Anyone have a lead on a gunshop that has these in stock? I'm not interested in the Battue model. (would prefer Lite in 30-06)

That's precisely why. Having never handled one, I'm not sold on the sights. I've already owned the model I'm after, should have kept it, but at least my brother's happy! :p

X2, I got handle a Battue at the range a few years ago, a guy just bought it and it was his first trip to the range with it.

I was impressed with the handling and I loved those fiber glow sights. :)
