I am contemplating Warne rings for the groove receiver on an older Tikka 595. The Warne Maxima rings are sold in MED and HIGH. I am mounting a 50 mm objective scope, but the outside diameter will be 56 mm. Will the MED work for a nice low profile mount or is it best to go HIGH. Assume no scope covers...thanks for any advice.
