Tikka with Talley extra lows?

Anyone tried a T3 using Talley extra lows wity a 3-9x40 and a butler flip up scope cover? How is ir for bolt handle room? Cheers!

My guess is it would be fine. I milled my lows to mate with the dovetail (lowering them) and they work fine with a 3-9x40.

However that is just a guess.

I have had a vx2 3-9x40 in the same rings and it worked well. Still had room for BC caps. Makes for a nice low mount for sure... big fan

Why would anyone want butlers on a leupold? Half the reason to buy leupold is for the aluminas.

Those are both good questions!
I have a set of Aluminas on one of my Leupolds and I really like them but they are crazy pricey up here in Canada and they don't really give any better protection then Butlers in my opinion.
