Let me introduce my newest addition. As far as I know it's the first TWolf to ever sit in a Sentinel stock.

.338 Lapua
PGW Timberwolf Action
Sentinel Stock
28" Krieger 1-10 twist
FTE Brake
40X Trigger
Nightforce 5.5-22x56 NPR-1 and rings

Have to wait for days off to give her a whirl but it should be a winner.

Big thanks to everyone who helped me get this together.

Nice!!!!

+1 for PGW

Did PGW made the set for you?
Who did the black finish?
Where did you get the brake?

I just got an OD Coyote and think about some mods like you did.

Congrats

No PGW didn't build it, but they certainly made a superb action.
The finish was done by Corlane
The brake is an FTE from Badger Ordnance

Honestly I didn't even look at the C3A1 when I dreamed this one up. I just piled up a bunch of research on patterns, spoke with some people, and made the decision on that one.

As for the design of that stock, it is far and away the most comfortable stock I have had the opportunity to shoulder. I've tried just about every design and make of stock available. It even makes my AICS (which I love) feel like a brick.

John,

That is one helluva nice looking rifle!!!! That Sentinel stock is incredible! I would reply to your PM but my CGN mailbox is overflowing...

We gotta get a picture of that on the website!

This answers my question about the replacement barrel... not problem getting it shipped direct?

No issues, they copied the profile fastracked the replacement and shipped her up. I'll be taking some more "professional" looking pictures for your website. I would like to get a few with a target in the picture (notice my optimism that this thing is going to be a shooter)

It was somewhere north of $6000 probably more like 7 once you include gunsmithing etc.... The actual amount I'm not sure, I was paying for components as they became available. It took over a year.

Plus if the girlfriend asks I have plausible deniability.

Alot, I went with a pretty heavy custom contour barrel for stability and because...well I like 'em big. I think with all the gadgets it's around 20 lbs. However that being said it balances perfectly.

Not for the person that likes the lightweight rifles that's for sure.
