Toying with the idea of a new rifle (don't need one but how many of us really do) for deer and bear. Looking for real life experience, it's come down to the good old 44 mag or the 450 bushmaster. The rifle will mainly be carried while dogging for deer and the occasional sit with 100 yard shooting

I'd look at a Ruger #1 in 450BM. Laminate and stainless.

That's a beauty, I would be looking more at the RAR in 450. The rifle would take a beating going through the bush/swamps. It would be a loaner rifle mire than anything, I live carrying my T3x battue but always looking for another new toy. A Battue in 450 would be a fun rifle
These are one heck of a rifle, I think prophet river were the only ones to bring them in, hope there is one in stock. Last time I seen them there were 1600$ +

The RAR was me pick as well. For me at least, the bugger be light & accurate with my handloads. The ergonomics of the rifle suit me well. I fitted the unit with a Timney trigger which be a good improvement for me uses.
