Time to Delete! Thanks

Hey Guys,

Vault's shipment left Kel-Tec a couple days ago. We are expecting it in 8 to 10 days. In future all update information will be posted on our new website that launched yesterday. Our priority will be to get all the orders out to our dealers after receiving the shipment.

Vault will also be launching a new forum connected to our website featuring a section specific for Canadian Kel-Tec users. This forum will be up and running some time next week.

Whats the warranty on the Kel-tec RFB ca??? Is Vault taking care of all warranty issues??

Where? On the home page, the "Kel-Tec Firearms" page, the "RFB-C High Efficiency Rifle" page, or somewhere else?

Is this forum going to have its own website, or will it be an offshoot of your existing site?

And when/where do we get more information on the Trace Optics? I don't go cheap on optics, but I also don't have the money to spend on numerous high end products. I am planning on sharing a Nightforce 5.5-22X56 between the RFB and my M14, but if the price was right on those Trace knockoffs I might buy one of them.

Anyone have any experience with Trace optics - or has anyone even heard of them before? I can't even find anything about them on Google outside of Vaults site.

Amen to that...wife is already talking about wrapping it up and putting it under the tree. Ummm....NO...the wrap is for you (wink, wink :D) and I'll be at the range pumping 500 rounds through 'er...

You looking at buying one?

Not without knowing the details of warranty, as it stands now you will have to ship your gun back to florida for warranty work. Vault has stated it will have to be returned so he is NOT handling warranty issues.

Thats not going to be pretty at all!

there is another thread on this, vault said that they would have a canadian gunsmith that would do the kel-tec warranty work, but they are still sorting that out, so for now if there are problems, they have to be sent to florida for repair, which would indeed be a pain in the ass. but if these rifles work as good as the ones in the states do, there shouldnt be any problems... its just the re-chambering etc that I personally am a tad worried about.

I would agree with you on that one.

On ktog, there's a few guys who've had problems, kel-tec seems to have very good customer service. Now if we have ancansdian gunsmith do warranty work it should be no problem.

But if you'll notice most of the issues were on rifles that had serial numbers below 7xx. They've made some changes to the design to take care of the problems (ie. ejection chute material was upgraded, etc.). Trying to keep a positive spin here...no sense getting worked up on problems from the past...but I agree that it would suck to have to send the rifle back to Florida for repair...coming from here that might take awhile.

yea it would. but i highly doubt anyone will have problems with these rifles.
I agree - I think the early-production issues have been ironed out.

Having said that, I've waited months for a cam pin on an HK SL-8, and more months for a firing group on a Walther P-99, and more months on other things. It's one of the key reasons I now shoot a glock, which I otherwise wouldn't touch. Overall, I try mighty hard to use only products that have ready parts and repair availability.

Which we will eventually have for the RFB, I would think, but not quite yet.

maybe we will see. why havent you purchased a 1911!!!! glocks are ugly ogres reguardless of their function!

I still plan on getting an rfb hopefully within a year, and I'm not worried about it. kel tec and vault are working together to get the warranty issues solved.
