Time to Delete! Thanks

For those of you in BC talk to Reliable or Wanstalls...that's what I got from Vault earlier (and I've spoken with Craig at Wanstalls about this). I don't think they're taking deposits or anything yet (at least not from me and I've made it abundantly clear I'll take one sight unseen)...I'd be inclined to think they're waiting to see what they can get first.

Man.... SHHHHHHHHHH!!! ;)

I'm on the Wanstalls list. Looks like a good chance too. Very few in front of me. I want to be the first to take an Elk with one. I've already booked the next years November season off. :D  :D

Its a new gun, why the need for parts availability?? For over $2,000.00 it better not break without an abuse issue.

Everything breaks eventually. Sometimes immediately through either bad luck, abuse or design flaws. Speaking from the perspective of someone who has waited 6-9 months for HK parts, 6 months for Walther parts, and over a year for other things ... I'm also interested in what kind of parts inventory Vault will maintain.

Sure would be a pain if the gas block failed in the first 20 rounds followed by a 9 month wait for a new one, eh?

Buy it in the US then. If the parts are not overly expensive then there is no issue. I am all for using and buying Canadain but when I am told we are out of M14 or SKS mags for months nad months then why wait when there are legal means to get the parts yourself?? Just a thought!!

Im kinda just guesstimating on how far it goes over the barrel (It looks like part of it fits over the FAL's barrel) and on the size too...

That is not half bad looking. I imagine it would look even better in real life with a matching finish. Might place an order with trade ex for some small parts and ill probably add three or four of these to the mix (at only 2$ each why not?)

Wouldn't a muzzle brake be a better addition? Who are you trying to hide the muzzle flash from? Or is there a possibility of Bambi's parents spotting the flash and jumping the gun? The RFB is going to be my first hunting rifle. So I'm in learning mode.

Probably. There isn't really a reason any civilian would "need" a flash hider, but I think it is more about the appearance of the rifle. And muzzle brakes can sometimes be obnoxious at a range or when shooting with other people because they tend to direct the gas and sound to the sides and up.

Who are you trying to hide the muzzle flash from?

The zombie hordes only attack at night.

I noticed that RRA makes a LAR-8. Supposedly it takes FAL mags. They're polymer mags too. How sweet would it be if there was a LAR-8 pistol?

I doubt they'd make a .308 pistol. When they made the 5.56 pistol all the gun nuts in the States lost the ability to purchase and shoot armor piercing ammo for their AR's etc. Apparently, civillians aren't allowed to have armor piercing handgun ammo, only armor piercing rifle ammo is legal.
