Well my faithful 870 has taken a beating over the past couple hunting seasons and it's time for a renovation. I would like a like ideas on some solid components from the experts.
I have a stock on order currently: Hogue Over-molded with 12" LOP
It's an SPS so it isn't a true blued finish so i'm not sure how to repair the scratches. I've reblued shotties before but I'm looking for suggestions and guidence on how to do this properly. I'd like to go with an OD green or a grey colour with a similar flat finish.
I want to put front and rear sights on preferably night sights with a relatively large ghost ring(quicker aquisition).
Last but not least, I want a STEEL Trigger and Trigger Gaurd. apparently this is too much to ask for when buying a working gun.
I figure the sight might make life interesting in the goose blind so they'll be the last addition likely when I semi-retire it to deer/turkey hunting.
