Timer Source?

Timers

Is there a Canadian source for IPSC-type shot timers?

There sure is. His name is Jack Payne and he's the owner of RU Ready which manufactures these timers. Jack can be reached at: jack@ruready.com

Just so you know. There are plenty of other good timers out there, but Jack Payne has supported IPSC for many, many years now and has always stepped up to sponsor numerous IPSC matches over the years. It's always been a pleasure to deal with Jack and I always like to support sponsors, as well as a great product.

Sorry if this sounded like an ad, but it's simply the truth.

I have to agree..I have known Jack for a long time..he is always there for IPSC Matches with his support...his new timer is great specially random starts..and besides everybody knows how to use "THE YELLOW TIMER"

while Jack is a great guy, I have to say I prefer the CED 7000 timer over the yellow one. It has a ton of options on it, all of which make for great practices, and also handy as well in an actual match. Price is similar, but I have to hand functionality over to the CED.

Gotta love that "spy mode" for the score keeper ;) ;) ;)

I also like the RF setup with the scorekeepers piece. so you no longer have to show the scorekeeper your timer, he gets his own that mates up to the one the RO is using.
