Timney drop in trigger for 10/22 order time?

I ordered a drop in timney trigger for my 10/22 from a local dealer. They told me at the time it would be a week or two. It has been over 2 months now. I phone and ask about it every couple weeks. They seem to be getting annoyed with me. (I've heard from a few other people they have a reputation for putting your ordered items on the shelf without calling) has anyone else had such a wait time on parts ordered from dealers? I'm starting to wonder if I should try somewhere else or just hold off and wait for this one.

Who did you order from? I have a feeling I already know. That seems a little bit unreasonable of them (especially because they're getting annoyed with you). BUT siht does happen, it's kind of a shot in the dark when anything will be delivered when it's expected these days. You could always try online (I think Mystic Precision often has them in) and if they have one in stock just cancel your order with the local and move on.

I got mine from Mystic Precision. It was not in stock but I still received it in less than 2 weeks. Jerry is great to deal with.

You probably do have A good idea. I don't want to discredit a business when I don't know all the details so I will keep from mentioning any names. What I'm really worried about is it coming in and getting sold on me. There was one not long ago on ee that was tempting, I just really didn't want a blue trigger. I think I'll give them another month or so, annoyed or not, I'll just keep phoning.
