I have a Parker Hale Safari that I would like to upgrade the trigger to a Timney I am assuming this rifle was built on a K98 Mauser action but without any clear markings as such can someone give me some tips as to identifying this?

Parker hales are m98 and the timney triggers made for them work well.

However mine was not a drop in install - I found that the featherweight deluxe's safety lever sits too high and interferes with cycling the bolt - I had to cut the thumb tab and re-weld it lower. Also, the trigger housing body is wide and sits so low in the stock that in hits the bottom metal/trigger guard - I had to relieve about a 1/16" of metal on my mill to make it work.

Depending what you are upgrading from, your best bet would be to find a Parker hale adjustable trigger - may not be as crisp as the Timney but certainly easier to install and has just as many features.

^^^This is what I found as well...if you have a Parker Hale with an adjustable trigger it is actually a very good trigger once it's set up properly..
