I have a spare timney sitting around at home, and figured my wk180 would be the perfect host. I've been told that some filing is required for the safety to work. There are so many pages to go through on this rifle here, if someone could point me in the right direction or describe what exactly needs to be done that would be awesome.

Thanks

I was actually told by another WK180c owner Timney's drop right in. You probably confused it with the Triggertech someone installed in their WK180c because they have a boxier trigger casing?

Trigger should drop right in but you'll have to use the original WK180 trigger pins because the receiver is a little wider than an AR.
I swapped an ALG ACT into my AR-180B-2 and it went in just like an AR other than the trigger pins and the bolt hold open. Give it a try and let us know how it works out.

That sure looks like it's finished well and the trigger finishes it off nicely. Looks good :)

More range reports required.

Where are all these posts about guys having problems with these? Guys keep mentioning it in other threads but I haven't found any (I only made it through three pages on the Wolverine page though).

The fit and finish of the rifle is far better than what you would naturally expect from a thousand dollar firearm that was marketed as a "budget" rifle.

A few guys, myself included, have found ammo compatibility issues. It seems like the throat of the Wylde chamber is cut too short on some rifles including mine. The ammo causing issues in my WK doesn't show the same problem in 2 other Wylde chambered rifles I tried it in.

I've got a couple types of ammo that don't cause issue in the WK so I don't really see it as a big deal. It's not the first rifle I've had to find ammo that functioned through it properly. That being said I still think this rifle should be able to eat anything. Should have just been chambered in 5.56 Nato IMHO. This wasn't ever meant to be a precision rig

Yep fit in just fine and functions as far as I can tell from dryfire. Had the gun for a while but haven't had a chance to do any really accuracy stuff yet hopefully that'll change tomorrow. Thanks guys glad I didn't have to do any "modding".
