Trying to identify a Timney trigger. It is a Sportsman, mounts with a cross pin at the forward end, has a set screw to press it against the receiver. Stamped "S". Any suggestions what rifle it fits?
It doesn't fit a Springfield - thought it did, with the "S". I think I have a M98 receiver in the odds 'n' ends box, will see if it fits. It has no safety, so it must be for something with a safety on the bolt sleeve.
