Timney Trigger Problem

I just installed a new Timney 501T trigger onto a Rem 700. The install went ok, or so I thought. However after all was said and done, I cocked the bolt to test the new trigger and nothing happened. The trigger won't engage the bolt and firing pin. I don't hear any "click" when I pull the trigger. Obviously something isn't right here, but I'm not entirely sure what. The instructions that came with the trigger leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. They tell me how to remove the old trigger, they give instructions on how to adjust the new trigger, but they just say "install new trigger" without giving any actual instructions. The TriggerTech on my other 700 was so much easier to install... Anyone have any idea what went wrong here? Thanks.

I never understand why anyone spends so much money replacing excellent triggers when all they require is a little work at a fraction of the price.

That being said most aftermarket triggers have excellent help available if you contact them. They don't know if you have a problem if you don't tell them...
