I have one on one of my build.

One of the best trigger out there no doubts. Unless you need a trigger more then 3lbs...



Feels more reliable and more resistant to elements then the competition.

Been disappointed with Timney triggers. Last one used was 'Tactical" for M600 Remington. It lost the trigger lock screw. Have quite a few Jewell competition triggers and haven't had any problems. Calvin Elite trigger new to their line? Haven't tried one yet. Safety on an 8 oz trigger, seriously!? Think I'll order one, deserves a try. Safety should slide out.
 
I've always liked the timney the new one adjusts very easy and the trigger shoe is smaller than the 510 but bigger than a jewel, it's just preference I guess and they are cheaper than jewel, best way to find out if you like them is to try them. A person can spend hours reading what other ppl think but the only way you'll ever know is to give one a go yourself

After seeing you had them on several of your builds, I was thinking about trying one on my 338 Improved build. Just got chambered today. Don't have anyplace I can try one out though. I have played with the Jewels, the Barnard, and have a couple Rifle Basix which I don't mind, but wanted to go a little better for this build. Torn between the Calvin Elite and the Jewel. Want a safety though.

Where did you get yours? Gary at Bighorn?
 
I just installed a calvin elite on my 700, wow thats the only thing i have to say, its well worth the 250$! I will be trying it out next weekend and cant wait!
