So I was at P&D this week and was looking for a beamcover for my surefire forends that I have mounted on my 590SP and 870MM and we where trying some beamcovers for the 6P and other ones trying to see what would fit.... well they had nothing that would fit so Butler creek was suggested.

Objective Cover #5 from the butler creek flip up cover's fits perfectly..... keeps the dust off the light and also stops the nasty breakage when you drop something on them in the safe.

they fit a little loose, loose enough that you can spin them to line them up correctly, but not to loose that they will inadvertently come off. and $10 sure beats $40 when it comes to faux tactical ninja's like myself ;)

Spending $10 to protect a $350 forend to me just makes sense ;)

Thanks Wes. I'll be looking for one too.

the thing I like about the butler creek fix here is that the BC covers are biased to remain open, it takes an effort to close them. keeps the lens clean and accidental dropped stuff in the safe doesn't break the lens.
