Tired of crappy weather in Ont.

Not really a good note. What extra deer survive will be stricken by an unbareable amount of ticks..

We need a few days at -30 to beat those buggers down.

On a good note, as was mentioned earlier the milder winter should be good for both deer and moose. Also, you may note that the first Mon. of Nov. this year is actually the second week as the month starts on a Tues. We're hoping the second week will translate into cooler temps and maybe the rut will start when it's supposed to. There was absolutely NOTHING moving during the week we had up in WMU56. Sure enough on the Sat. night (we had to leave the next morning) weren't there 4 freakin' deer on the front lawn in the evening!

I hear ya. Rain 3 weekends in a row now and its -20 during the week. Since I can only hunt Saturdays (work during the week, no sunday hunting) I havnt been out yet.

We are dying to get the hounds out but with this ice crust AGAIN its too hard to the dogs feet. Have to wait for another 8" of snow to cover this up, So frustrating.
