titanium firing pin for AR

it,s actually very flexy, fighter jet skin. steel with more weight probably better for punching primers.

It will bend but has way more memory and recoil compared to steel, I had a job where I had to bend titanium rod into a U shape and have the 2 sides parallel. When I made the part out of steel I could bend them myself with an industrial hydraulic bender. When I used the same machine on the titanium rod it would spring back 40%. The company I took it to to be bent, had to over bend them 40% so they would spring back to parallel

That's exactly the reason.
Less weight = less kinetic energy when bolt closes = reduced chance of slam fire with ammo that has sensitive primers.

So, does anyone know where one might exist in Canada?

So you just want a titanium firing pin. LOL

Not in Canada but I order alot from Bronells to get things I cant find in Canada, I have a package on the way from them right now for a American Defense RMR mount that I couldnt find anywhere

They list a Ti firing pin and will ship it to Canada

Do tell, how many slam fires have you had in your AR, or on any AR?? It's a non issue..

I wouldn't be looking for one if it was a non issue for me.
Thanks anyways.

I think I'd be more concerned with why your rifle is slam firing in the first place. A few grams isn't making a difference either, but feel free to convince yourself otherwise.

Please, tell us how and why your AR is having slam fire issues? With several million copies of the rifle in existence I have yet to meet anyone who has experienced a slam fire or even heard of a verifiable story of one.
