titegroup 45 data question

hi all not at home to check one of the manuals so i thought i'd reach out here, is 5gr a good charge for plinking ammo, rounds would be win or cci (depending on what i can find lol) LP, 225gr LFP at 1.2ish OAL

4.4 starting to a max 4.8 for Tightgroup in the lee manual for a 230g jacket bullet.. not sure if that helps you any..

5 is warmish. I usually go around 4.3 with 230gr jacketed or cast. 4 is ok but I find if I go less cycling suffers as the girl gets dirty and titegroup can get her dirty in a hurry.

My software would seem to say 5gr is a high if youre using 1.2 OAL. perhaps keep the oal a little longer knock the powder down a bit.
My reloading info is not to be used for decision making purposes.

For a lead bullet at 225 grns I would sat between 4.0 to 4.5 grains of Titegroup.

I go with the lower presure loads just because it makes it more pleasant to shoot. Makes a pound last longer too. Try 4.0gr.
