At that price point, you can sign me up for a Rem 870 clone with a pistol grip and 8.5 inch barrel...

One question... Will the 870 clone be interchangeable with Rem 870 parts?

A smuch as I'd love to have a custom DLASK 8.5" I can't justify it at this time.... but I could probably scrounge enough recycling money for a cloned 8.5" :redface:

Oop, I submitted the previous post a bit prematurely......must have been all the excitement, lol.

An 8.5 if non-restricted sounds like the ultimate bear-defence/grouse gun for a hiker or anyone working in the woods. Can anyone confirm whether they're really non-restricted? Since I'll probably be scrounging for cash, will the price go up or down as the barrel length decreases (my 14" Norc cost $100 more than the full length versions for sale at Marstar), and will the barrels be interchangeable with other 870s?

This sounds potentially very exciting!

I would be in for One convetional tube-Mag fed, and Two detachable mag fed if they will take 870 type parts.

Would really appreciate a definative answer regarding the "mag fed" on

a. Mag capacity

b. Availibility of extra mags

c. the 870 parts compatiblity
