Magwell Adapters are back!​

Howdy folks!

The SKS Magwell adapters are back in stock but this time it is upgraded to our newest version.
The magwell v2 or gen 2 addresses a few issues that were reported by customers installing them at home on a variety of SKS from different manufacturers.

This new adapter is slightly beefed up in a few places, it has minor radii adjusted.

The big change is that is moves the magazine hold height up about 1/8".

This makes it easier for the bolt to load cartridges into the chamber.

However this comes with a requirement to trim about 1/8" off the back of the magazine.

It's not hard to do, it can be done at home with minimal tools like a file.

If you don't mod the magazine, the bolt will likely not be able to be released from the bolt catch.

So. I am not a Lawyer. But to my understanding of the law, because this redesign requires you to modify the magazines to fit this adapter, you can only *legally* use 5 round magazines

if you modify a 10 round pistol magazine to function with this adapter, you will have redesigned the magazine to fit a semi automatic rifle, which means that 10 round pistol magazine is now a prohibited device.

the exact same reason why its illegal to remove the "stabilizing rib" from TUF-22 magazines or MRX Bison magazines.

Someone wanna correct me here? because i am really hoping i am wrong.

I believe you are correct. The wording of the law seems to say modifying the magazine to work with the rifle is illegal.

This is a terrible update... we want 10rnd pistol mags!
