K, so I wanted a Benelli M2 but shopping around I found this. Quite a bit cheaper but Turkish, figured there was a risk that it might not be great but I'm down for a little risk. Bought it, got it about a week ago and took it out this AM. Went through about 125 game and target loads and I can say that I LOVE this gun.

Shots fast and smooth, comes to aim really nicely, no malfunctions. Quite light.

Not great at writing reviews but I'm quote happy with this gun, if anyone has a question I'll try to answer it.

Yeah... but how many high(er) volume shooters would consider buying a knockoff to save a few $$... ?
- I'd guess it would be pretty close to zero.

In most shooting sport, you'll probably spend more on ammo than on the gun.
- Ruining a day (or multiple) of shooting for a few hundreds... is not worth it to most shooters.

And yet we still see people showing up with cheap Turkish shotguns, and then upgrading when they start having issues. And some just buy another cheap Turkish gun, and buy another few thousand rounds, until that one fails. Some people would rather spend less cash, and buy another gun when one fails.

I put over 40 000 rounds thru a Turkish semi auto. It was the main loaner at the farm and I used it for everything for 2 years. Yes it broke 2 bolt locks and needed a new spring but parts were free and shipped the day I sent the email with a pic of the broken part. Deal with a respectable dealer and you'll be covered. Having dealt with tna many times I'm sure they'd do what ever they could to make any issues resolved as soon as possible.

Lot of people with a lot to say about a gun they don't own. Wouldn't it be annoying if I made a bunch of comments about how ####ty your wife is just because I heard of some other guy having a ####ty wife?

A more appropriate comparison who be someone talking about his new new latino GF... and other guys raising flags about possible outcome...
- I hope the TNA VR-66 works out for you  Having other (less expensive) options is always nice.

- For the record, I don't have anything against Latino ladies (they make great friends)... But like food, you need to know how much spice you're able to safely handle on a daily basis :p

Im suprised a member since 06 and 820 posts, seems upset at some of the responses. You should realize the can of worms opened! I agree with you 100 percent about comments from members that dont own or probably dont even know what theyre blabbing about. Only time will tell and from the experience by a member who knows, Brybenn. Im sure youll be well taken care of. Keep ur head down and follow thru

Got an update?

So, update.

Had one issue that TNA resolved easily and would make a recommendation which could easily prevent this. The buffer weight inside the recoil spring has its own plunger and spring inside held in place by a threaded cap. That cap unscrewed itself and caused the buffer to come apart. Unfortunately in the process the threads on the cap were damaged and I couldn't simply screw it back together and keep going. TNA sent me a replacement one and I loosened the threaded cap, applied loctite and reinstalled. No issues since then and back to very smooth and reliable shooting. Assuming I wouldn't have had this issue on a genuine benelli, perhaps some will say this is "you get what you pay for" and probably correct. Minor issue and it's resolved now and I continue to be a satisfied customer.

Probably 1200 rounds through it now and no other issues.
