hey fine folks,

We got around to stripping a JR Carbine in the shop to see how our parts fit and made some interesting discoveries.

AR-15 Triggers
The super crisp Elftmann 9mm trigger drops right in. CMC triggers fit well too. Would these high-performance triggers be desirable in a pistol calibre carbine like the JR?

AR-15 Handguards
Some folks who installed AR-15 handguards on the JR reported the barrel nut bottoms out on the receiver before the barrel tightens home. Our barrel nut shims of various thicknesses might be the solution to fill in the gap so the barrel hits home. Any JR Carbine users been down this road?

On our copy of the JR we needed two 1.95mm shims to make our regular free-float M-LOK handguards fit just right. If you use a Super M-LOK (clamp style) handguard then we found that a 1.95mm shim plus a 0.9mm gives the best results.

You guys sell those damn receiver Allen key head screws?

JR USA sells them for $3, but wants $24.95 to ship! :(

I'll put it on our shopping list to bring in, I'll let you know

In a rush if you can bring one screw to a well-equipped hardware store they should be able to find you a match. imperial not metric

I would like to see a short stroke and recoil reduction kit for the jr. Especially since the lack of other options for PCC now.
