Story goes...A fellow member asked me if I could locate him one of the TNW 30cals. , it took a few weeks, and I did locate an A6 config. in 308, but in the mean time he managed to find one.... I did not purchase it, and as far as I know it's still for sale. Question is... what do you think the "real" value is? I already own one, and am thinking of a twin gun set up, or maybe just helping out a fellow CGN'er with a new toy! Thoughts please.

Whatever the market will pay.

I got mine for around 5k, abeit that included a few thousand cartridges.

There is one for sale for over 8k, but that is over value obviously, as it has not sold yet.

They won't go down in price because they are not importing any more.

Twin 1919A4s is pretty decadent.....go for it.

Bare gun should sell in a heartbeat for 4 to 5K. Accessories and ammo will just add to the sale price.

When it comes to the M1919, it is easily possible to have just as much in accessories as the gun cost new.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again, a tuned and smooth working M1919 is just about as much fun as you can have in Canada with your pants still on. There is nothing like the feeling of rapidly completing a 250 round belt without a stoppage.

You can say that again ! Laugh2 LOL

All about supply and demand. I got a TNW 1919 A6 for $2800 about four years ago. The prices have crept up to about $4000-6000

Unless there is an independent import, I have been told no more will be imported into the country. So what is here, is all we will have, I am guessing a few hundred at most?

The TNW MG34's are different as Marstar still has some sans bolts. Once the bolts arrive there will be more on the market.

its ONLY us export controls stopping them

So IF they can get them from another country it should be ok

marstar has MANY 1919s in fullauto too bad they cant/wont part them out for semiauto builds

its too bad more spare parts/barrels were not around

It is quite interesting how much the prices have increased. Even in the US the price for a complete semi 1919 has gone up. Not nearly as much as here, but with the availability of parts kits declining there and the cost of kits have increased a great deal. Now Izzy kits seem to be going for $950 and increasing. A couple months ago they were around $850. Complete semi gun seems to be going for around $2,300-$2,500 now.

If on an approved range etc... can one who owns a Non Restricted TNW 1919, or MG34 that is mounted on a vehicle of some sort (1919 on jeep, MG34 on Motorcycle Sidecar Combination) legally fire said gun while it is still attached to said vehicle? Not while moving of course.

I have heard many different answers to this, but cannot seem to come up with the exact letter of the law on this question.

All of this would be on an approved Range.

I believe mounting them in this manner mean's you don't have to go to a range.
Any back road pit with a safe backstop would work great, and be a lotta fun.

I do it in my province at the Brandon range. There is one shooting lane that is missing the bench. I pull up, remove the front windshield, swing the gun over and rip off a couple of 250 round belts on a Saturday morning. I never bring more than 500 rounds cause otherwise I'll shoot them all.

What would make you think there was something improper about shooting from the vehicle? I know there are hunting laws against it, but range rules??

Then again, someone might think you are practicing for a drive by.

Maybe he alone thinks it's made out of Solid Gold just like a lot of the junk on the EE!

:slap:

Count the weekly bumps! That tells you it's way overpriced!

Maybe with each bump, increment the price higher by $1000! LOL

If I was practicing for a drive by, I might try using a different firearm than my TNW MG34.... ;)
