A lot of the issues with these is crap ammo. Yugo surplus won’t work well. If you really want one that works amazing then get the 308 conversion kit. IMHO TNW should have made these for that caliber and avoided many issues and it’s much cheaper to shoot too.
The US will no longer allow export of belt fed guns so it’s OVER for these semi auto belt feds. If it’s a 1919 or MG34 whatever is here are the last of the mohicans. For this reason I doubt they will ever come up in legislation. Too rare. Too expensive to buy back. No more are being brought in anyways.
