TNW or jr carbine?

TNW does not hold open on last shot unless you get an aftermarket lower.
Rifles with serial number over 2000 shouldn't have the issues earlier models were said to have.
Barrel comes off.
Easiest Caliber changes.
Come with a useful enough optic.
AR part compatible.
I don't personally like the flat finish on the black version so much, but the dark earth that I bought is quite nice. Its also said to run best with steel case ammo but I haven't had any issues with 147gr wolf reloads. I've shot 100 rounds through mine so far and only one FTE on the 3rd round using baurnal 115gr but nothing after that.

Holding the Aero immediately after the JR carbine is a great selling feature also...lighter and no big bulky forened.

you might just be unlucky with some of your purchase .

on this forum you always heard first of the guys that had some trouble but never of the 99 other that dont have trouble with

I like the chiappa m1-9mm the best, but I heard bad things about it. Should I buy that instead. I like the price.
 
I own a TNW and it's not a jam o matic at all however it's not a very refined pistol caliber carbine. Having said that either is the JR or Thureon Defence. You want decent PCC buy a Beretta CX4 Storm. You want awesome buy an HK USC
 
I've shot my buddy's CX4 Storm and is a decent carbine. The ergonomics is good and all controls feel well placed and naturally operated. The only think I didn't like is that it felt a little bloated - too much plastic. The sights were also not the best but serviceable. I've looked at the TNW and JR. Still haven't found one I want to drop $1k on yet including the CX4 which is a lot higher in price.
 
Thureon Defence, my 40 S&W has never gave me any problems be it -30 to + 30, even after being covered in mud and dirt from riding along with me on an ATV she has always worked.

HK USC with 8" barrel and Hera Arms UMP folding stock. I paid $2200 for the firearm in stock form and around $300 for the Dlask barrel and around $400 for the stock. Eotech was from a friend for $375.

It is a truly refined firearm as far as pistol caliber carbines. Mine is 45ACP but it's possible to go all out and do it exactly as a UMP in 9mm

That thing looks bad ass. I want one but it is way out of my price range.
 
I think the JR carbine is ugly, boxy and pocky......I was going to buy a CX4 , but then I handled an Areo Survival rifle at the gun show, i really liked the balance and feel of the gun. I also like how it excepts AR furniture. All the videos on u tube show the gun operating fine. Accuracy is the only remaining concern i have with this rifle. But i plan on biting the bullet anyways and buying one when Wolverine supplies get more colors back in stock! :)
 
To the OP, my JR in 9mm is a sweet carbine. I think a little heavy for a 9mm, but shoots into an inch at 50m, and I have yet to experience a malfunction. Not quite a thousand rounds through it, but apart from a swab of the bore it hasn't been cleaned.

I like it.
