I was just wonder what you thought of it after you had a chance to shoot it? How do they compare to an AR or PE90? I've had one fellow say they are not all that accurate and they handle like a pig. Been thinking of saving up for one, so any comments would be welcome. :D In other words, I guess I'm asking for a range report...

Handles like a pig? How does one drive a pig?
Did this guy you talk to ever actually shoot a FS2000? Or is he just another mall ninja that had a bad experience with one in a video game earlier that day?

I found the mag change to be rather clumsy when compared to the AR.

Sights were good.....shot low for me but that can be adjusted.

The NOISE of the spring was weird.....a tad louder than an AR.

Pointability was excellent....

Just wondering, did you try shooting from the prone at all?

I guess you would never know, but will it still eject when firing straight up???
Actually, I think most of us want to see that test. You know, for the benefit of soldiers having to deal with urban combat and the enemy is at an elevated position.

ie That forward driving belt system works in conditions of firing at awkward angles, pointing 45, 60 degs upwards...and so on.

Or fine sand effects on that casing eject system..

I think sxyglock has his, hopefully he'll give us a report, if not we could all bug him :) I don't know about you guys but I'm jealous.

Im in the states (upstate NY) and have one. Ejection when fired straight up shouldnt be a problem at all based on the design- I have not fired it straight up to test this, I must add.

When extracted the case goes into a guide tube that feeds it into the ejection tube as a new round is stripped. The ejection tube has a plastic c clip at the rear of it (above the bore) that has just enough tension on it to keep ejected casings from falling back into the action, but spreads very easily when a case s pushed through it.

There is a dust door a the face of the ejection tube. When it is closed, the casings build up from firing and push the door open easily, then the gun dumps about 4-5 spent casings at once.

It is very ergonomic, but definitely has a distinct sound when firing.

Cool thanks. Welcome aboard.

Edit...haha ...I say welcome aboard because FNP90 had one post, but he's been a member for two years.

  How the hell did I miss that thread, I've been looking for it since the PS90 thread:confused:
Just so you don't have to scroll all the way through for the video:

There will be a full range report in the September issue of the CSSA newsletter. Be sure to pickup a copy!

#1. It's picky about ammo. It needs heavy crimped ammo. No crappy Winchester 45 grain JHP ammo (pushed the bullet into the case when feeding). Military surplus ammo is recommended.

#2. Use good mags.

#3. The ejection seems flawless. I couldn't get it to screw up no matter how many empty rounds I dumped BACK into the ejection port :D

Sweeeeeeeet.
