Just wanted to dust off this thread and comment that my Bul Cherokee has just passed the 2000 mark of shots fired. Sum total of problems: One stovepipe (and it was probably my fault). The grip is what makes it for me - perfect fit, and a really comfortable 9mm to shoot. I'd consider it perfect if the trigger travel was a bit shorter. All of the 'fragile' parts this thing is made with still look mint, but I'll take some photo's after I reach the 10k mark and let you know.

K100 has cast parts, including the slide, which is arguably worse than MIM. Very few guns these days (even relatiely expensive ones like HK and Sig) are 100% cast and MIM free.

DETONICS USA is 100% cast/MIM free...100% Stainless Steel...even their springs are stainless steel! Great guns though!
