I put in a low profile gas block to run a free float tube on my CORE15 and it comes with 2 set screws. I did a range test and the rifle cycles fine, so before I torque down the tube itself right, would it be a good idea to dimple the barrel or just clean out threads, put some loctite on the screws and leave it as is? I may swap out gas blocks from time to time as I travel between 2 jurisdictions, so there might be some utility value when it comes to dimpling. Any thoughts would be welcome.
