They don't have the manpower or resources to confiscate 1/10th of the affected guns. They haven't got a clue how to do what they are proposing. It'd take YEARS and cost BILLIONS to even make a dent in their stupid list.
Could you imagine of they did have those resources and used them to combat crime, drug imports and gun smuggling? Instead, they'd rather go after Uncle Bob and his BA rifle...unreal how anyone could vote Liberal.
The problems I see is that a majority of gun owners bent over to follow the laws. Just sit it out, keep what you have, buy at a good price what the fear full sell. Anything with a mag is in the EE, good time to buy…
What if all says screw the ioc, and use our guns ? What if we refuse to check Pal other than private to private like before that stupid rcmp check system ?
What if all refuse to comply with the buy back ? They cannot collect door to door registered guns..that will cost way more..but we can not participate at all and let them get red in the face til they have to pick them up.
Making the process as costly as we can, play dum and stupid, is the way to go in my book.

Denso tape after applying light coat of oil to externals and internals. Denso easy to remove and waterproof if wrapped well.

I used the very same stuff 45 years ago to wrap the big "connectors" when we installed poly pipe to metal risers to supply NG to ranches and farms out by Cardston Ab.

Is that what it is local to you? It was astronomically more here, and caps were ~$45 each.
65 gal drums can be purchased for what you are saying an end-cap costs. Plastic drums w the removable and resealable lid are my choice. They are a bit more expensive and sometimes harder to find but def worth the wait.
