#1 - this is an old thread dredged up after being debated to death.

#2 - it was a faked ad to start with.

#3 - anyone who thinks it is ok to make anyone participating in shooting sports feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed, regardless of gender, nationality or age or firearm/hunting preference or any other factor is a short-sighted blockhead.

#4 - shooting sports enthusiasts are a small percentage of the voting public, and day by day, misinformation, leftist media, and our own bad PR distance our causes from the will of the general "voting" public.

#5 - you don't have to like the current "lay-of-the-land"/political climate, but at the very least, lets avoid cutting off our own noses to spite our own faces.

It was/is a funny post. Is it politically correct. Nope. But the people who hate gun owners, and all things gun related, will not change their minds about guns because no politically incorrect things are posted on gun forums. Their minds are already made up. Period!

Humour, much like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

IT has its place and time...... and don’t think the fact that women likely post similar in their forum is lost on me....

It’s place and time just isn’t in the hunting and sporting arms forum on canada’s largest firearms site...
 
I don't disagree with all your points, but we also have to stop catering to them.
