It's messy and you have to keep applying it repeatedly for it to continue working. If you want to reduce copper fouling, DBC is the answer, as far as I'm concerned. Apply it to the barrel once, and you're done until the barrel quits.
Moly paste is best used to treat the bore to get it ready to use moly coated bullets.
Using moly paste with uncoated bullets would not be a great idea cause the bore condition would continuously change as the moly was scrubbed out and then intermittently replaced.
there's also a good barrel product from Militech, a USA based company.. ( use google). the U.S. military uses their products (so do I ) ...excellent stuff..
