Hey guys, I'm in prague right now, I can't read a ####in word of czech. where are the gun stores?? what are they called? The beer is dirt cheap, and the women, well they're gorgeous, almost as hot as swedish girls. I was at the castle today.

The guards have chromed SKS's, with black stocks, and a chrome bayonet. pics will come soon.


I need to know where the Gun stores are!!! I also bought a folding knife with "Avtomat Kalashnikov' on the blade. It's the first knife I have bought that I could shave with with out sharpening it myself.

Tomorrow I am off to Kutna Hora to look at the bone Ossuary. I am going to try to buy a human skull. please reply asap, as I am coming home on friday!!

Actually Prague is getting expensive if you are doing the tourist thing. The restaurants along the main strip from the castle through Carl’s bridge into the center square and Vaclavak are quite the gougers. You need to go to the side streets or better yet if you know someone from there get them to take you to the real pubs. Better beer better food at less then half the price. Coming back on Friday doesn’t give you much time to really enjoy that place.
 
I am not Czech, but feeling so envious!

I lived in Prague old downtown (Mala Stephanska? near the church of St. Stephan) in 1995 for a week - it's a fabulous little city. Loved its people, food, beer, streets and buildings.

We probably walked more in that week than in a whole year before that...

They are some of the best drivers in the world too! And the girls are drop dead gorgeous.
 
they could in fact be vz-52s good call. doesn't that rifle use a different round than the sks. some 7.62x43 or something?

anyways, palinak, thanks for the tip. I managed to find BVS on the map, its not far from my hotel, now lets see if I can find some cz-858 goodies (not that I wouldn't buy from you palinak, but I'm here so might as well see what I can find)

The main drag is expensive, but me and the g/f found a quiet liuttle place off the beaten path, and we ate and drank quite a bit and paid a whopping 27 bucks for everything. well, back to my 75 cent 1/2 liter beer :D
 
There's a CZ store downtown. I can't remember exactly where it was though. I think it says on the CZ website. It's a small store, and the people running it aren't all that keen on giving alot of time to foreigners (they know they're not buying anything), but it's cool to see guys in suits drop into the store and pull pieces out of their jackets for the gunsmiths to look at.

Yep, that's the place I went. Not a very big store, but it had some neat stuff in it. They had some full auto Sa58s hanging on the wall when I was there. But the store owner was all high and mighty about how the Czech military wasn't going to use them anymore and that they were worthless and that any day now they'd be switching to their new "American" gun, etc. For some reason Praguers really like Americans...
 
They like Americans because those keep Putin thugs at bay. I would not blame Czech for that. Having a rogue neighbor is a bit challenging when you are a small country.
 
Well guys, tomorrow I will check those places out. Do you need a gun licence here just to buy parts, or is it like canada where you only need the licence to buy the actual firearms?

I was at kutna hora all day. I tried to buy a skull, they wouldn't sell me a real one :( but I did manage to get a very decent looking plastic or ceramic replica. I will post pics of the gun shop stuff when I get back to Canada
