I have a Dillon xl 650 I loaded up 600---800 rounds of 44mag I have .40....45acp ... just bought the .223...and just bought .9mm. All the stuff is still new I have not even used the .40...45..223...9mm tool heads powder hoppers tool stands conversion kits... various up grades for the 650 ....now what's bugging me is the swage unit !!!! Buy it then it's separate or buy the super 1050 and it has the swage unit built in Can't make up my mind if I should sell my xl650 and buy the super 1050 for the 8 station press any one out there been in this boat before if so please give me your thoughts
Thanks folks

Keep the 650. The cost to upgrade the 1050 is way higher. The conversion kids are more expensive. Only upgrade if the amount of time you will be swaging will be worth the additional cost. Personally I don't think it would be.

Jesus, G-Man! That Avatar pic gives me nightmares!

My wife is looking for some attention tonight and you hit me with the "Blonde Salt-Peter"!
That's cold, Dude. Cold.

I have a 1050 for doing 9mm IPSC loads. It never changes. I have a 650 with quick change kits for everything else including 223. With that said I plan on another 1050 in the spring for the exact reason you mentioned... primer pocket swage. I have been using a Frankfort arsenal case prep machine for trimming but will be switching to a Dillon rt 1200/1500 in the spring as well. Stuff ain't cheap but neither is my time.
