to shot or for someones collection

I have this old CIL and IVI shotgun shells my question is should I shoot it or see if it's worth putting in some ones collection

box is full but the lid is damaged



both boxes full and boxes in good enough shape

loose #5 and 6




some loose paper 12 gauge

For myself I would say put in someone's collection.Nice old ammo.

I would shoot a few just for s and g's. I would also put a few away for collecting

Generally the boxes have more value then the shells. I'd sell the boxes and shoot the ammo.

Then again those are not exactly old boxes either

Ahhh, the smell of those paper shells and the good ole CIL's


I would take the boxes , but I would also want the shells.
Being out West makes it cost prohibitive

Well - The plastic hulls are 80's vintage, not sure they are particularly collectible. I just bought a whack of plastic hulled Canuck number 6's for 5 bucks a box. Paper hulls would be more collectible, due to age and fragility...

Them high brass will have a good kick to them just so ya knows ! And yes them paper shells do have a Perfume all their own best smelt out of a sxs !
