$ to spend - SFP9 vs 509 Tactical vs G17 MOS Gen 5

I have all 3.

Sfp9...meh. overhyped Glock with HK marking. Accuracy, so so. Typical HK quality, nothing to write home about.

Fn509T, cool gun really great to shoot, however no go fast parts. Accuracy, so so as well. It is hinder by the really heavy trigger, but once you get used to it. Accuracy jumps a bit and grouping can be shrunk.

Glock, tons of go fast parts, the "honda civic" of pistols. From piss poor OE barrel to holy shxt, diamond coated match barrel.

Out of all 3, i actually prefer the FN, great gun and the weight and ergo feels perfect for me.. haven't touched nor shot the other 2 for over a year. Actually i have not shot my glock at all. I bought the glock just so i can say i have it.

Ymmv

I'll take that overhyped glock with hk marking off you for 500 bucks.

Ppq m1 navy and M2 if staying with iron sights. Great trigger, the upper slide shape seems to really make the pistol point well compared to a block. Fits great and I found it to be very accurate.

Glock G19x. I like it. Hate the regular Glock sights but these new offerings gd gen5 or 4.5 for the X really work well for me. Trigger is ok and accuracy is good. I still prefer the ppq but I had to have a Glock and I really liked the X.

P320. Tried it. Didn’t like it. Clunky, high bore. Mediocre trigger. It did shoot decent though. A buddy who bought it as he is used to the 226, really likes it. I like the 226 but I think there are better options in striker fired polymer.

Probably going to get a fn 509 tactical. Red dots with 1/3 lower cowitness is where it’s at. It matches up with current carbine use. It’s just a number of years behind but is rapidly catching up. I haven’t tried the 509 but it looks decent and other fn products including another handgun I have are decent. Could use some more input from others on this one...
