Yes, when we have the pleasure of Teds company on his island visits, we hit any number of different establishments for our coffee/lunch get 'togethers'. Ted is very knowledgeable, has experience most of us can only dream of and the result is an increase in local CGNers at each visit. A lot of interesting and informative conversation. Looking forward to the next visit already :d .

John, we've never met or bought or sold anything bit I have to let you know that while shopping last week I came across a wallet. It was a simple sturdy thing but there on the front, burned into the leather was a moose. A smile crept across my face and I thought of 'that guy who posts pics with the moose'. Had I remembered you username it would be in the mail to you! Anyhow, Merry Christmas.

:) And back at you . Wish it could've come to be but, I do appreciate the kindness of the thought. On the topic of wallets, the following is one of my few souvenirs from my last trip to England, being a fan of dark beer ;) .

When I saw the inscription on the change pocket, I had to have it :p .

If you come across the Moose wallet again, give me a shout.

Here you go John...... usually mom does Rufus up a bit more than she did this year...... but he had to be placed in a more out of the way location to avoid being chewed on.... so he didn't get his normal attention.....

When the cat they got settles in and stops being a turd, mom and will be able to decorate him more........ she even brought him out to witness the Christmas meal.... lol..... it's a family tradition similar to "elf on the shelf" for us.....

My den and reloading room are heavily decorated with Moose artifacts, and quite a number resemble the likes of Rufus. Many were selected as toys for my Granddaughters to play with when they were visiting.
Here's one, the Ikea Moose that hangs out in my reloading room.

And, for a few different artifacts, even have a Moose cookie jar.

And, a Moose crystal ball :p .

Best wishes to you all, hope this new year to be better than the one we're finshing but worse than all those to come in the future!
