Does anyone own a Tobin 100 Pigeon grade 12 ga? ...or ever seen one? or know how many were made? or have any idea of value for one in excellent condition? Thanks for any info; please pm.
Cheers wtc.

Yes. I just read an article in the spring '94 issue of Double Gun Journal. It was on the history of Tobin guns. I love guns period but have recently been very interested in SXS shotguns and rifles.

I used my Dad’s old Tobin double 12 for years. Not sure what model it was. Both barrels were full choke. The fore end, wood and metal were made locally by an old time blacksmith. Finally, the buttstock got too rickety at the front end, so I gave it to my Dad’s grandson, my nephew.

I grew up with Dad using it for Prairie Chicken, ruffed grouse and Huns. All Dad ever used was Imperial Special Long Range paper shells. I was the “retriever”.

CRAP Just typed a long response and questions....then lost it. @$%# shorter version.

Does anyone remember the Regal grade model 250 Tobin that sold 8-10 yrs ago, then resold very quickly to a gent from the Yukon who sent it down to Chris Dawea for some restoration work.
I've lost my contact info for that guy; does anyone know his name or cgn handle or other? Think he was originally from Woodstock.
I believe there are 2 known 250 Regal grade guns .....10 years ago there seemed to be no known model 200 grade guns; anyone have anything regarding the M200 guns. I know of 1 model 100 Pigeon grade gun and wondering if there may be more somewhere across this vast land.
I have literature regarding models and original selling prices but nothing on the number of higher grade guns made and sold. Pease pm with anthing related.
Thanks.....wTc
