I spotted my first gopher of the year. Let the carnage begin.

:)I just saw a squished on one the side of Hwy 39 west to Drayton Valley, Alberta.

I'm starting to shake here.....:sniper:

That is good news. I was getting tired of shooting paper... I guess I should go and stock up on .22LR, .22Mag, .223 & .22-250.

Hmmmm.....I only have 21 bricks of .22 HP in my ammo locker. Better go buy another case. :dancingbanana:
Finished reloading all my .204 cases...350 shells ready to nuke gophers
:sniper:

Must have been warmer in Alberta than Sask today. It was -28 when I started the truck this morning and with the wind the radio said it felt like -47. Brrrr

I was headed home from Cessford today when driving west into a gorgeous sunset over the mighty Rockies I caught glimpse of what I thaught was a gopher, turns out it was a clump of cow$h1t. Nearly drove the truck into the ditch though....but thanks for the heads up there Pharaoh, I'll be on the look out. Ahhhhh spring :D I'm inventing a new sport this spring....gopher hunting on horse back...yeehaw.

Nothing beats gopher hunting when there's still snow. The .243 really shines throwing 55gr NBT's @4000+fps and seeing the spray on the snow afterward.

Ah, spring.:)
