Very entertaining thread, to be sure! I know and like Tod, and have had pleasant dealings with him, face to face. But I have no issues with the Mods either. They have to make choices, and we may or may not agree. That's life, and my personal experience leads me to believe that life does not always dish out what we like [or even deserve!!] The knowlege he displayed is available from many sources, but Tod always was willing to post it quickly, so some may have come to lean on him for that, rather that looking it up on their own. One thing is certain, anyone who takes up reloading will never stop learning. I started reloading when Tod wasn't even a twinkle in his daddy's eye, and the learning process just goes on and on. The curve may not be as steep as it once was, but it still possesses some adverse grade.
Hopefully, Tod will return some day. In the meantime, he is not hard to find.

OK...so what have YOU posted in your fantastic 98 post count that has helped others.....I looked....not much.

The internet, and these boards, are about benefitting from the knowledge and experience of others, and sharing yours for the benefit of others. Todd was willing to shere that knowledge, and although I have never needed his help, there have been many who benefited from his presence here. Unlike yourself, and useless posts like the one above. He added to the quality of the board.....you detract from it.

Well I am not gonna take a side on this one cuz it is just beating a dead horse. For whatever reason the Mods decided to ban T/B it is between them and him, nothing we can say or do will factor in to that decision.
I just want to say that Todd Bartell is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this site. He is one of the original members here and has contributed more than most. And certainly more than some of the more vocal detractors on this thread.
I don't know Bartell personally but I'll bet he thinks this is very entertaining.
I hope he comes back and never changes......

Yup...I read your posts...all of them. Most of them consist of exactly one sentence (ala Gibbs505), mostly smart-ass comments, and only one or two which could be considered helpfull. 2% aint bad...I guess. Oh well, when your posts contain just one sentence (ie: "Thats my wife!"), it doesn't take long to read them.

Oh yeah...Groceries? WTH does that mean? I don't get it. Maybe PM me an answer, as to not cloud the thread with even more uselless posts. Seriously...I really wana know.

I can't believe I read this whole thread..........

Once upon a time long long ago and far far away I was a mod on this site, and the mods at that time were a bunch of real decent folks who got mostly crap and abuse for moderating a bunch of folks here. Some extremely small percentage of the folks here deserved to get their pink little bottoms punted out of here. To my certain knowledge, quite a few of them came back with different handles.

I imagine that the new crop of mods are also a bunch of real decent folks who get mostly crap and abuse for doing their duties here......

BTW in person TodBartell is a nice, quiet young man, I met him last year out in Vanderhoof or wherever that was..........although he has dreadful choice in buddies (J/K Amphibious...) He is a hunter and a shooter and he is one of us, he will be back if he is not here already.

Todd will be back. He was banned while the mods discussed what an appropriate penalty would be, and it won't be a permanent banning.

Guys - it's real simple around here. We'll generally let people know when something's over the line, but if you push it you'll get a time out. And if you REALLY push it or keep pushing it after a time out or two, you could face a permanent ban.

We try to be as fair as possible, but there are 17,000 members here. There are a handful of mods. And we're all volunteers and it takes time to talk stuff out. If someone's causing a ####storm, and they've been warned before, chances are they're going to spend some time in the penalty box.
