The amount of play in the bushing is frustrating me, I checked with the calibers and there is a .009 play between busing and the barrel, I can see that needed for the barrel to disengage form the slider, but there is another .008 play between the bushing and the slider. All together it's a lot of play, anyone have experiences with replacement bushings being tighter? I would like a bushing tha at least locks tight into the slider.

Anybody have a 1911 and could see how much play there is between slider and bushing, and size difference between barrel OD and bushing ID?

I had good luck in the past with using steel putty, the one that comes in a plastic tube and kneaded together- I was thinking of using that to take up some of the gap to secure the bushing

You bought a Soviet military handgun not a race gun ;)

You can not expect a $150 WWII pistol to have the same QC as a new $1000 1911. I would not worry about it all
