Hey guys
did a search and nothing
so I'll ask
anyone know and or have either replacement rubber grips for their tokarev or sleeve that slides on over existing grips.
Now that I've found out why my tokarev jams up I'll be shooting it more often but its too thin in my hands, I also need to work on the front sight as its too difficult to see sometimes ..I'm getting older and my eyes have difficulty picking up the front iron sight..
If you have done some mods to your tok awsell if you don't mind pics please
thanks
Glenn

Not sure on the price range you have in mind but these were book marked for my own future purchase before I decided to put my TT-33 up for sale.

They have a VERY nice selection of styles and colours...but these sound like the size you'd be wanting

Aftermarket TT-33 grips

thanks
not what I'm looking for..simple grips rubber...kinda like the P762 grips , just to give my hand more to grab the tokarev is very skinny to me..still fun to shoot

Short answer is no.

I would get some talon grips or skateboard grip tape if you're cheap.

EDIT: Talon also has rubberised grip tape.

I used hogue handall grip sleeves, took some work to get it on with a blow dryer but doesn't look too bad when it's on. I'll post a picture when it comes back from getting redone.

On ebay I bought Tokgypt grips. They fit perfectly and have a palm-filling shape to them. I think I paid $27.

As for the front sight, i have the samep poblem with most pistols. I paint the front sight bright white and then fluorescent orange. I bought a bottle of model paint in both colours. Cost about $3.00 each.

To make the florescent paint to be bright, you have to first paint the white undercoat.

If I recall, around $50. One problem is that the mag release is recessed quite deeply
once you install these grips, making the already difficult mag removal even more so.
I might have to get a buddy with a lathe to whip me up an extended mag release.

This is a good solution to the Tok grip problem...these mag base extenders allow you
to get all four fingers on the grip instead of just three...it makes a big difference, unlike the
compensator, which took hours of hand-fitting and resulted in a negligible difference in recoil.
But it does look cool IMO!

The rubber grips in the earlier photo are on a Zastava M70a, I agree, they are probably too long
for a short-gripped TT. I guess it comes down to; do you want a hard plastic grip like the Tokagypt
or the soft rubber grip of the "Combat" grip? Marschall grips look great, but they take a long time
to get to you after you order them....a LONG time.

That does look good, where'd you get the comp and the mag base extender? If I may ask.

It's hard to find what I'm looking for
just want something simple...I just put some paint on my front sight so I can see it easier while at the range with it...now I found out the problem was the ammo jamming up my gun I want to shoot it more but it's not very comfy i my hands.
just a simple slide on rubber sleeve would do for now even..
Mine was sitting in a crate for years as it was never issued so I'm the only owner and shooter of it so the parts are still in break in period ..I guess..
If I find a pic on web of what I'm looking for I'll post
Glenn.
