tokarev spotoway adopters

I recently just purchase two Sportoway pistols. These are the Tokarev with the 22 calibre adopters. With both guns the adopters were made too big and did not fit into the chamber. With my first five adopters I put them in a drill and removed some metal to make them fit. I had to take off .005 inch to make them work. The gun shoots rather well with a quarter size grouping at 10 yards.

Does anybody know of a source for these adopters?

I am having a machinist buddy look at possible making me some more adopters since SFRC does not have any.

Would any one out there be interested in buying some if we can make them at a reasonable price?

From what I understand, these adapters are made of unobtanium. If you can get them made at a reasonable price i'd wager you'd have a fair amount of interest on these forums.

If he can make adapters (chamber inserts) for a decent price,I'm sure he'd sell plenty, I've seen a set of 8 go for 80$.

One could have bought the whole gun for 99$ when SFRC had the sale a while back.

Werner Wick at WW machining in Wetaskiwin Alberta has made these adapters. I tried them out and they work well. I would recommend them.

The adapters all come oversize and require hand-fitting to the chamber of your gun. what you really need is a brass-catcher so your adapters don't fly into the next county over.

I sold some of these things 20 years ago and they where $100.oo then.
I have never seen any one stock the adapters.
